Texas Notary Fees/Maximum Notary Fees

 

Taking acknowledgments or proofs:

For the first signature: $6.00

Each additional signature: $1.00

Administering an oath or affirmation: $6.00

Swearing a witness for a deposition: $6.00

Taking a deposition for a witness: $.50 per 100 words

Certifying a phtocopy: $6.00

Providing an uncertified copy from an entry of a notary public's record book: .50 per page

MOBILE FEES - Traveling Fees Apply: Travel fees are not specified in the law. Such fees are proper only if the notary and signer(s) agree beforehand on the amount to be charged. The signer must understand that a travel fee is neither nor specified in the law and is seperate from the notarial fees described herein. Travel fees range from $25.00 and up depending on the time of day and distance traveled. Travel fees will always be discussed prior to departure for your requested service.

 

Additional Mobile Fee Information:

Though not specifically mentioning notaries as State Officers in the statute, Texas law requires "State Officers" to bill clients for all expenses.  Therefore we will always prepare a detailed bill for any services we perform as a Notary Public. We will discuss our fees with you our signer before performing the notarial act to avoid confusion or conflict. We will always provide a written receipt for fees charged, completely seperating any non-notary business fees such as travel expenses from the actual notary fees charged.

 

Due and Payable Upon Receipt:

ALL fees are due and payable on completion of services rendered at which time an invoice / receipt will be issued. We accept only Cash, MasterCard and Visa.

10:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m. = $35.00 plus $6.00 per notarization

12:00 a.m. - 6:59 a.m. = $45.00 plus $6.00 per notarization
